At Northwest Playground Equipment, we’re always looking for ways to bring fresh, innovative play solutions to the communities we serve. That’s why we’re excited to announce our newest partnership with Cemer, an international leader in playground design and manufacturing based in İzmir, Turkey.
Who is Cemer?
Cemer (pronounced “Jem-er”) brings over 30 years of industry experience, overseeing everything from concept to production with safety as a central focus. Their U.S. product lines comply with ASTM and ADA standards, ensuring safe, inclusive playgrounds. Globally, they’re known for creating environments that balance imagination, physical development, and community engagement. Their bold, architectural play designs deliver more than just equipment, they deliver experiences.
Innovative 3D Rope Play and Beyond
One of Cemer’s standout specialties is their 3D Rope Play Structures, which use modular, geometric designs to encourage children to explore, climb, and discover in open-ended ways. Built from durable, high-quality materials (metals, high-density plastics, child-safe wood, and eco-friendly coatings), these structures are engineered to resist UV damage, harsh weather, and heavy use. They also support motor skill development, balance, coordination, and problem solving across age groups.
They also structure their offerings into themed groups such as Geo Group, Adventure Group, Dynamic Group, Multi-Play, and Spider Group (rope systems). These different series allow for playgrounds suited to different themes, age groups, and site constraints.
