We partnered with the City of Sultan to bring a nature-themed play space to life at Mountain View Park. With sidewalks already in place upon arrival, our team installed the playground directly into raw dirt—navigating winter weather, constant rain, and muddy conditions throughout the project. Fortunately, the city proactively added drainage improvements to support long-term durability.
From concept to installation, we worked closely with the city to ensure the final design reflected their vision for a playful, engaging space that fits naturally within the stunning landscape.
The playground features Playworld equipment with a rich variety of play opportunities. One standout is the Converge rope climber, a high-climbing structure that connects two sides of the playground. Kids must scale its dynamic rope nets and metal components to get across—encouraging full-body movement and adventure. The space also includes a bright red Mighty Descent slide, two additional slides, and multiple interactive play panels that offer a range of physical and sensory activities.
Nature theming is present throughout the site, with tree trunk posts, an oak trunk climber, and engineered wood fiber (EWF) surfacing that enhances the organic look and feel of the space. Set against a breathtaking mountain backdrop, the playground’s design perfectly complements the location—making Mountain View Park a standout destination for play in Sultan.
